Luke Lively

With roots in Minnesota and now based in Southern California, Luke Lively didn't find music. Music found him through a break.

A serious arm injury as a teenager pulled him off the field and onto the stage, where his first role ever as Peter Pan lit something deeper than performance, it sparked purpose. Not long after, he picked up a guitar and began writing songs that carried the same sense of escape, emotion, and belief.

What started as a detour became a calling. Even while studying business and later working in corporate America, the pull toward music never left. After four years, Luke made the decision to walk away from stability and pursue the thing he couldn't ignore.

Now blending indie pop, funk, and guitar-driven storytelling, Luke writes from the middle of the story: where it still hurts, but something is growing. The scar that once sidelined him became the beginning, a reminder that what breaks you can also point you toward who you're meant to become.
